Two Peters Family Living delivery personnel
delivered a mattress and foundation to the Wilson's home in Ola. When
contacted several days later by Connie, their sales person, to make sure they
were happy with their new bedding, Mrs. Wilson said, "It's nice to know there
are still Good and Polite Young Men out there, and they should be commended...
Oh, by the way, the bedding is wonderful. We are sleeping better."

her following her delivery, and while thanking Mrs. Boatman for her business and
for driving all the way from North Little Rock to buy her furniture and
appliances at our store, Mrs. Boatman's very nice reply was as follows:

When I shop at Peters Family Living, I
feel like I'm at home with family... I'll call to let Connie know when
I'll be there... she's waiting for me when I arrive. I've already talked
to her about what I need. She is ready to show me things... never
pushes... never hovers... always answers my questions and tries to lead me
to what products would be best for me... She's my friend!
There's not enough to say about the
office personnel. Everyone does a great job! I always talk to
Glenda. She's always there for me. She works with me, and when I had
surgery she made things a little easier... She's a God send and I
know she is my friend!
And then there's delivery... What
can I say. Friendly, courteous, and very patient. They moved my
furniture around until I was satisfied. My appliances were all hooked up
with everything working before they left... Very professional!
When shopping
at Peters, you know you are working with people who know their stuff. Very
professional. You are in such a relaxing, warm, friendly atmosphere.
The only thing that would be better is if the store would move to Little Rock!
I would recommend to anyone to go to
Peters if you need any household items and you will be pleased!"

the store opened. Jeff remembers when he was a kid and his father, Dewey
Jones, brought him in to buy his first 22 rifle. Jeff says, "you sell good
products, you stand behind your products. Thank you for your good service

"Your parking lot was completely full during the Car Show
last year and I called your store on my cell phone to let you know that we
wanted to look at a washer and dryer, but could not find a parking place.
Connie, the sales person I was talking to, told me someone just pulled out, and
that she would go out and save it from me. We came back, Connie was
actually standing there guarding the parking place, and we were able to come in
and purchase a Maytag Neptune Front Load Washer and Dryer. That's great
customer service!

range. I was the lady that came in about a week ago and needed a range
with different grates on the surface than the one I had at home. I am very
pleased with the grates, the way they go over the total surface of the stove, we

my family decided to do business in Russellville concerning any needs regarding
furniture it would definitely be, Peters Family Living.
"I have had problems
concerning the purchase of furniture, but due to your staff, I have had NO
problems. It was their prompt, courteous service that made my mother as
well as myself confident that the problem would be resolved, and it was...
"May I add, if I had to rate
your employees on a 1 - 10 basis, I would give them all a 10+, simply because
every time I or my mother has passed through your doors, we are greeted with a
smile, and offered assistance immediately by the individual that greets us.
I am overwhelmed by the openness and response of your staff.

business around here that could take lessons from your staff of employees, from

"I just had to write a note
to let you all know I think you're great. Everyone my wife and I have dealt with
at Peters has treated us like family even though we have only been a customer
for about six months now!
"Friday my
wife and I bought a repossessed Maytag dryer from you, after getting it home we
found that it didn't work properly, and I thought to myself "Here is the real
test to see what kind of a company Peters really is" So this morning we stopped
in and told Chuck about the problem. He had us speak with a serviceman who ask
me to check a couple things. When I returned home I followed his instructions
but the dryer still didn't work. I called in to let him know I was still having
a problem, The serviceman said he had the new part we needed in stock and would
be leaving to come and repair our dryer in about 20 minutes, I was shocked. I
never expected such prompt service. Service after the sale is the very
important thing to me, it says a lot about your company, and has made me a
customer for life.

"When my father, the late Ancil Church, came home
in 1944,
just after serving his country during WWII , he and my mother, Bernice, came
to F. C. Peters at Peters-Baldwin Company and purchased a blue living room
suite and a Bendix Front Load Washer." The store (now doing business as
Peters Family Living) was giving away a child's mug to customers. "My
parents saved that mug until 1951 when I was born," says Pat Martin, wife
of Buddy Martin who operates Micro Designs, "and I have kept that mug all these
years."
She brought it in for us to see during our
60th Anniversary (2004). We wonder how many more of these mugs are
still around after 60 years. We appreciate Pat sharing this treasure with
us.

in 1944. They saved it until she was born in 1951.
